Varato BANQUE POPULAIRE V’, il più grande trimarano del mondo

Varato il 26 agosto il più grande trimarano del mondo: si tratta di ‘BANQUE POPULAIRE V’ costato 250mila ore di lavoro a 170 persone tra ingegneri e tecnici. Lungo 40 metri e pesante solo 23 tonnellate, il trimarano oceanico è costato 10 milioni di euro ed ha tutte le intenzioni di passare alla storia nel libro dei record. Il suo skipper, Pascal Bidegory, intende infatti lanciarlo ad oltre 40 nodi per battere tutti i record possibili: Jules Verne Trophy, North Atlantic (New York to Cape Lizard), 24-hour e Miami - New York.
