Mancano ormai pochi giorni alla partenza della La Volvo Ocean Race. La regata Oceanica significa 8 mesi in mare per 31.250 miglia, la prima tappa partirà da Vigo in Spagna il 12 novembre per poi proseguire a Cape Town (South Africa), Melbourne (Australia), Wellington (Nuova Zelanda), Rio de Janeiro (Brasile), Baltimore, Annapolis e New York (USA), Portsmouth (Gran Bretagna), Rotterdam (Olanda) e finire a Gothenburg in Svezia.
